We had a great tournament, and a heads-up battle that raged for 30 minutes! Carey Kennedy came to the final table with a huge chip lead, and added to it by knocking out most of the final table. Peter Greenlaw was able to knock out a player as well, but was still a 4-1 dog when we started heads up. But a couple of well played hands allowed him to get the chip lead, and the tournament ended when his he trapped a flop of Q-7-3 and called the all-in with top pair. Carey's pair of sevens got no help, and Peter was $50 richer. The final eight players also all received 2 one day passes to the Kinko's Classic Senior PGA event being held next month! Former winner Kels Farmer lasted until we got to two tables, and had a $10 bounty paid off to the player that knocked him out. |
