We had a record 61 players on Tuesday night, and when we started the final table, Pete Greenlaw, the winner of the last tournament, was still standing, looking to become the first two time winner. He was short stacked, though, with two giant stacks looking to knock some players out. Glen was the first to fall, and Pete was right behind. Pete pushed with AQs, but pocket 8s found a set on the turn, leaving us with seven players. Jerry went out on the next hand, playing those same pocket eights, but A9s found an ace on the flop. Jessica fell in sixth on a crushing hand, getting all-in preflo pwith K5o vs. Erich's 75o, but a four flush on the board matched Erich's 5, and the big stacks kept getting bigger. Robbie was still on life support at this point, and pushed with AK. He was up against pocket threes, and while the King on the flop gave him hope, the 3 on the turn took it right back. Barbra was the last woman remaining, and got a hand heads-up against Henry that would make the difference. Henry pushed after a garbage flop, and with pocket Aces, she figured she was good. But Henry was holding two fours to match the one on the board, and was now holding over 40,000 in chips.

With all three players in the money, we were now playing for first. Ryan got his money in against Erich with a dominating hand pre-flop, showing A7 to Erich's K7, but a King on the flop gave Ryan free pizza, and gave us the heads-up match at 9:26 p.m. Erich had the slimmist of leads starting out (47,500 to Henry's 43,500) and both were looking to bully. Almost every hand featured a pre-flop raise, andalmost no hand went to a showdown in the 34 minute fight. The final hand got it all-in before the flop, after both players put in a reraise. Henry's Ad2h was almost a 3-2 favorite over Erich's Ks8c, but when the flop came with two more 2s, it was 124-1. The final board was 2s2dTd3hJh, and Henry was $50 richer.
